His username has changed to Anon(numbers) and he hasn’t posted since the end of May.
I used to really like his posts.

I think … that he had a ‘disagreement’ with … the Powers That Moderate…
Seems he has chosen to stop posting.

If someone has a name anon followed by numbers, it means they have left the forum, and previous posts are anonymised. It’s better to do that than delete a person’s post, as it can make discussions hard to follow.

I wonder what happens if someone comes back.

They start again as a new member, choosing either their old name or a new one. The posts that were changed to the anon name when they left remain under that name.

If you’re familiar enough with a person’s posts it can be quite easy to find their “anon” id by searching particular words you know they said in one or more posts.
