…different word with each game, randomly picked from the New York times of something else I may be reading. No rhyme or reason on picks. Sometimes I hit gold and other times a complete bust…

Game based on logic and deduction/process of elimination so, for me, I start from the same place every day.

Same starter word each day, unless it’s been doing well for a few consecutive days, when superstition kicks in, and I’ll revert to my usual line two word instead.
If only a couple of letters on line one are present, I’ll often throw in my line two favourite as an eliminator, though if three are there on line one, it’s time to grit the teeth and just get on with it.
Still haven’t worked out whether or not my line one favourite is responsible for the increasing number of MCQ situations I seem to end up in.
