What’s the outcome?

Unfortunately CM they didn’t get the 19a’s picked up and set up with the Atom HE in time so I am visiting on Friday instead

Can’t wait to hear them together

Maybe you can find a deal on a preloved Chord Dave? I use one to drive my 40A and it sounds excellent.

Happy New Year

How about a new streamer you were wondering to take, to replace the Endalnic?
I see an Innuos Pulsar in my crystal ball.:cocktail_glass::upside_down_face::chicken:

You mean the Auralic. I’m going to keep it for now. It works fine

Yes , Auralic, but as it’s the end of it, i renamed it.
I understand you keep it, till all work flawlessly. And maybe a company will restart the brand. Who knows.

I auditioned the Atom HE and the ATC SCM 19a’s at the dealer this morning and I was very impressed so I’ve now got them both at home to test

Gosh the Atom and the active 19’s sound so wonderful together

I think my XS3 and my source was just not good enough for the 11 or 19 passive speakers but changing to the active 19’s with the Atom HE is a revelation

I’m amazed how good the Atom HE sounds especially for it’s relatively low price

I think I have now found my next system::: Atom HE, ATC SCM 19a’s. A nice simple system. I will be adding my partner’s turntable and one of three cd players to the mix

However I am now a complete convert to streaming and the Atom HE sounds amazing so I don’t think I will use cd very much

That sounds good to me TLR however I believe I now have the ‘end game’ setup for me. The HE and active 19’s are amazing and I’m loving the sound right now. Smooth as silk and dynamic sounding at the same time. ATC have done a great job with the active 19’s

I did audition the passive 19’s with my XS3 system and liked the sound but the active 19’s are in another league entirely and they seem to love the Atom HE too

I’m absolutely loving the combination

Just keep in mind that ATC actives like good XLR interconnects and good Power cables. Do you listen with Headphones a lot?

I never listen to headphones

Hi opus… I have no idea what XLR cables my dealer supplied but I don’t think they are anything special. Power cables are currently Naim Power Lites from my 5Si & XS3

Do you think these will be good enough for the 19a’s?

Don’t skimp on 5he interconnects…. They’re transmitting the feed to the amp, not just amp output as per passive….

Thanks TLR

Any recommendations?

Wow I’m so impressed by the 19a’s

Unbelievable how different they sound to the passive 19’s

The Atom HE is doing a wonderful job feeding them too via the XLR outputs
