Audioquest Vodka Ethernet full loom

NAC 252 + Supercap DR + NAP 300 DR + 300 PS + more Powerlines for all the boxes + more Fraim levels (brain/brawn on two racks, of course) + new speakers for good measure.
After that maybe replace that Cinnamon cable?
FWIW, I’d probably do just that if I could!

A NAC252? - yes. A NAP 300 DR? - No. Not interested. New speakers? You must be joking  More PoweLines? Oh yes. The Cinnamon? It stays, for the moment, just by the skin of it’s teeth…more Vodka? n-SUB upping it’s gain? Oh yes!:eyes::sunglasses::+1:

Always good to have a plan

Where we want to be is never where we are.

We’ve not even got our new system racked and we’re thinking of cost to swap 250 for 300 and XPS for 555.

Ke sera sera.

In dealers on Saturday when picking up pre I was looking at speakers but SWMBO dismissed :unamused:

I window shop on a daily basis, although when I do actually listen to what I have or hear visitors comments I realise I’m already very lucky to have what I do currently.
Like most of us on here I’ve been through so many changes over the years but each system brought enough of what I needed (and could afford) in bundles.
I could keep changing things of course but where I’ve ended up is a nice place to be, I still wish for a Technics 1210G having said that, one for next year perhaps!

Obviously. We can always be very close though…:sunglasses:

Well said as usual. I also feel fortunate to have what I have (huge thanks to the forum and select local friends) it’s such a treat to listen to. @Stephen_Tate just wait until you have as you say a “full-loom” of Powerlines! They really are the icing on cake (IMHO)

Luckily for me, after 5 weeks of the 252 I’m not thinking of adding or replacing anything. It helps that I don’t have the money to go further up the ladder.

I’m definitely going the full PowerLine loom after being knocked sideways at just what one has positively brought to my system. Same for the AudioQuest Vodka Ethernet cables.

We expected powerline to only help “power hungry” boxes like 250DR so were surprised at the positive effect on 272 (and then via XPSDR).

Currently sourcing 2 lightly used powerlines for nDAC & NDX2. Priority will be using with nDAC first.

Have you guys tried Paul Pang platinum?

Ok, i’ve just gone in with the third Vodka. Have a brand new 1.5 metre one winging it’s way here. Yay, all fully loomed up now, or should i say “will be”.

Hi and welcome to the forum nicktube,
I’ve never heard of them, are they any good?

I had heard of Paul Pang switches, looked at them a while back. So the Platinum is a high end network cable.

Haven’t settled on the switch for our new setup yet but will likely try EE8 first as readily available. Will stick with our Melco C1AE cables for now. Exotic switch and cables may follow depending on funds.

The third Vodka is on her way. Don’t let the Blues Jeans crew know what’s really goin’ on…:eyes::rofl::shushing_face::smiling_face_with_sunglasses::+1:

Nice and easy, lemon squeezy.

The PPa Platinum is really good. But I had only the possibility to compare it with Furutech NCF lan8 and the AQ Carbon.
But I have heard from other people who had more experience it’s amazing. It’s more natural and musical sounding versus in your face with blingy effects

Interesting choice of sockets @Stephen_Tate . Here’s mine (BJC6a x 2 & Chord Clearway):

Principle is not to near mains and furthest from one another.

They’re coming to take me away haha…

I had read that the further away you can put the lines feeding your system from the power and the input the better. Why? Who knows but mine is the same as Stephens
