A thumbs-up for WRTI Jazz. Thanks for the introduction.

On my Naim app with any iPhone 12 this station gives no track/artist info, just the bitrate and buffer size.

The station does stream this info and it is OK via TuneIn on my system.
Is anyone else seeing track info or having the same issue on the Naim App?

Another nice Jazz station
Jazz - Jazz 24/7 GBH (WGBH) (Boston, USA)

Big shame if Planet Rock goes. Although they used to have a High Res stream which went when Bauer bought them.

“a radio station run by Baby Boomers for Baby Boomers”
A nice station with great music that gives BBC R2 more than a run for its money. No BBC rabbit.

P.S. Boom Singles is not the 45s it is the dating page !!!

P.S. Some aggregators have this station as out of New York City but I am assured it is from the Netherlands as is also evidenced by the playlist timestamps.

We’re only at 128 kbps but may I suggest luxuriamusic.com

“LuxuriaMusic is among the pioneers of Internet radio. What the listener hears upon tuning into LuxuriaMusic (luxuriamusic.com) is a meticulously curated mixture of musical genres that make up the station’s eclectic alchemy. Since its inception in 2000, LuxuriaMusic’s earliest and most avid adopters have been people who possess a high level of pop-culture consciousness, especially about ’50s-through ’70s music and entertainment. Such folks also form the basis of the station’s air staff: a diverse, super-knowledgeable group of music enthusiasts and professionals who curate the various genres that comprise LuxuriaMusic’s eclectic alchemy. Surf Music, Bossa Nova, Exotica, Space-Age Bachelor Pad, Jazz, Soft-Psych, Sunshine Pop, Wall of Sound, Latin, Go-Go, and Film & TV music of the past 50 years are expertly distilled and blended in order to concoct the “highly intoxicating and sometimes hallucinatory” LuxuriaMusic Sound. Somehow, in this context, it all makes sense.”

I highlighted this station last week and have been listening to it regularly since.
The sound quality is stunning. One evening in a segment they played several tracks that I have (had) on CD and which are now on my NAS. I would not have been able to tell them apart.
But don’t take my word for it, add it your system and have a listen.

If the Absolute Radio channels do go belly up you have a ready-made and better alternative.

Anyone who enjoys Paradise mellow try out ABC Lounge from France. Similar laid back sounds.
