With all this self isolation meaning we are probably spending more time on t’internet than usual, we all need to be careful.

There’s a link going round of Bono from U2 doing a live gig from his home.

If you click on this link you get Bono doing a live gig from his home.

You have been warned!:astonished:

Not intending to divert this thread but I think it should be pointed out that
It certainly does if you’ve ever heard the bigoted bile that spouts from some extreme right wing “Christian” and Creationist zealots and their organisations.
Theres a few here for starters

Not what I was referring to. Of course the religious right in America are (almost entirely) rabidly anti-LGBT but they would be unlikely to mention it in a children’s book.

On a similar vein… :joy::joy:

I suspect that it is a spoof book taking the proverbial out of the Creationists. In a similar vein to the “New” Ladybird books that have been published recently with titles like The People Next Door, We go to the Gallery and The Mid Life Crisis. There is quite a slew of them I believe.

That’s it - build up to it slowly, lest the sudden rush of excitement on Thursday does you a mischief.

@Steve2
Done a little digging into the dailybleach tag in the pic - you’re right, I think. A possible/probable satiric intent in the book ‘page’ shown. Very much like those Ladybirds…

Thus, a joke.

Still, a joke with a point IMHO.

I failed my ventriloquist exams.

I can’t say I’m surprised.

Oh, they certainly would!

I disagree, this stuff is out there. Even if it’s a spoof it’s a very real issue it is satirising. Extreme fundamentalist Christian’s and Creationist cults use this kind of material to brainwash children.
Best a subject for another thread though before Richard shows us the red card.

Hi Steve,
Looks like the Daily Beach is a satirical “News” website.
