That reminds me of when I worked for a while in Loughborough, staying in a hotel.
One evening we went to an Italian restaurant called Angelo’s, we took some new members of staff from work there and one of them asked the proprietor what they had for vegetarians. ‘A doctor’ was the reply which sent the restaurant into fits of laughter!
No offence intended to vegetarians!
