Sorry to hear about your issue with the mu-so … love my mu-so Qb2 … it might be getting more playtime than the Uniti Nova
There’s also the word “bricked” = having the value of a brick. Is he happy to swap it for a brick?
No question mark now.
It may become “ Brand new Mu-so now bricked “, if you throw it through the window.
It would remove the ambiguity and the need for a question mark.
No, but would be happy to swap it with something that works.
DG…
Such as a 80 dollar Wiim mini, maybe?
It’s not standalone, but you’ve got the concept.

Fingers crossed the dealer puts this right quickly. The problem with all this technology is that companies are trying their hands at computing when they are not software or programming experts. Car industry is exactly the same, loads of problems with software because the companies arent skilled that way.
@afgverhart - if I’m not mistaken, you are located in The Netherands, have you contacted Latham Audio already?
Correct, I am in The Netherlands. I leave it to my dealer to contact them. They should receive the my-so today for further action.
Thanks, keep us posted!
Sorry to read that some folks here, are having difficulties with their Mu-so 2.
I have a Bentley Edition Mu-so 2 (fw 4.4.0) that is ethernet attached to my switched home network, and is absolutely reliable, using App 7.4 on an iPhone 12Pro. It serves as my system #3 to fall asleep to light evening music.
As a former network engineer, I am an advocate for using ethernet and not wifi when a choice is available.
I hope you can resolve the issues, avoid wifi with a $25 run of ethernet which can perform miracles to music streaming.
Never had an issue with wifi, always the app is the issue

My dealer has ordered a new Muso 2. So I hope it will be here soon.
Afgverhart. Any update?
I have just bought a CI102 and am having similar issues.
It worked fine for the first hour and I updated the firmware. No problems at all.
Then the following morning it simply does not work. I have an orange light on and that’s it. It is not discoverable in the App.
I have tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling, a factory reset, switching it off for a day and then on again, nothing works. Very disappointing….
Further to my previous append. Just wanted to reaffirm that firmware updates to a Mu-so 2 can be successful.
With my Bentley Mu-so 2 (v4.4.0 firmware ) attached using an Ethernet cable.
I have successfully updated to v4.4.1 firmware, which completes and restarts within less than 5mins.
That sounds like a network issue, have you tried rebooting your router in order to reinitiate DHCP?
Yes. It’s weird because it was working fine. I updated the firmware and it still worked fine. Then the following morning it was not working.
I have restarted my router a couple of times to no avail.
No update yet, the dealer has not yet shipped the replacement so they are probably waiting for new stock. I know there was a 2-3 week lead time when I ordered initially about a month ago.
What a bummer that your device is having issues as well.
