The marketing needs work mind

I can’t stop liking classic Toblerone. Grew up on it. Addicted to it. My wife screams at me for eating a whole one in a sitting. I don’t care…so worth it!

Same stuff, those rum soaked raisins are like taste bud rockets. I buy 10 bars at a time and ashamed to say once the packet is open it all goes. My partner and both her parents are thoroughly hooked on the stuff aswell. It’s funny watching a couple in their 70s arguing over whose eaten more and who is entitled to the majority of the remainder.

Blimey that’s a blast from the past! :grinning:

Nothing’s better than this

Usually have a piece or two of this everyday.
If we spot the dark Leibniz biscuits, dark Toblerone,
Lindt Lindor extra dark or anything dark on the odd occasions.

As a young student in Norwich, I had a part time job at the Original Caleys chocolate factory before it was decommissioned. Enjoyed getting these at the staff discount.

Oh my goodness. I didn’t realise they still made it.

I’ve got no pictures because I have none left, but, these are my favorites:

Jaques Genin Praline selection
Jean-Paul Hevin single origin chocolate bars
Pierre Herme

For the more industrial type (ie markets):
Domori
Bonnat

and for cooking:
Valhronna

I LOVE chocolate :yum:

I don’t recall where Caley’s was. I do remember a chocolate factory (UEA 1976-9) but can’t recall it’s name.

'Rolo’ver Beethoven!

I’m also partial to the occasional Terry’s chocolate orange. I love the whole ritual behind opening this delicious treat and the delicate process of removing each segment.

Love the ‘King of Toffee’ advert here (makes it sound addicitive).

The Rolo inventors merged with Caley’s.

Interesting Beatles trivia at the bottom.

The delights of Hotel Chocolat are highly recommended, expensive, but their products spoil the tastebuds for anything less!
