I saw Beth a few years ago in Ashford Kent. Playing in a church in the winter. The heating had packed in and she had a cold. Her husband Sam Amidon was playing guitar with her and she introduced him as Manuel.

She was in an absolute foul mood and refused to play Dolphins - nevertheless it was a joy to see her live and a box to tick.

Do you know Sam Amidon’s stuff?

No I’m not familiar with his work.

Arthur Brown at the Flowerpot, Derby on April 19th. Has a cracking band and always puts on a good show. Last time I saw him, he encored with Green Manalishi, which alone is enough to make me visit Derby, when not much else would. Apologies to any Rams out there :wink:
