The Gothenburg Opera in January, Candlemass in March, Bryan Adams in April and Lars Winnerbäck in July so far…![]()
25th Jan - Ese & The Vooduu People - at The Troubadour in Earls Court
26th Jan – Ese and Sheena playing live in Jimi’s bedroom at the Handel & Hendrix museum in Mayfair
1st Feb – Ese & The Vooduu People at the Roundhouse (supporting Chisara Agor)
So far, just Lust For Life (Glen Matlock & Clem Burke), Echo & The Bunnymen and John Bramwell. And John Cooper Clarke, if that counts as a gig.
Hopefully more will take my fancy soon.
Booked tickets this morning for The Who & Squeeze at The Royal Albert Hall for Teenage Cancer Trust event in March.
Initially tried for the final night of the week which has Daltrey, Townshend, Paul Weller, Robert Plant, Eddie Vedder & Kelly Jones, but with so much press about Daltrey this week, it’s obviously attracted all the muppets and couldn’t get in quick enough for the tickets I only turn up for.
I got dead centre at the front. I must be the only person who came away from this morning with centre front for The Albert Hall, but came away a little disappointed. I need a reality check.
Robin Trower in May, and Wishbone Ash in October. Both at “The Brook” in Southampton.
Tommy Emmanuel and Molly Tuttle tomorrow in Lytham
Yippee…![]()

Really tempted by the Eagles on their ‘Long Goodbye’ tour. Apparently the three shows in June at Co-op Live in Manchester are to be their last ever dates in the U.K. The fact that they are supported by Steely Dan makes it even more tempting.
Yes,I’ve got fingers crossed for presale on Wednesday
Eagles tickets bought,Steely Dan support act.
I had a look but was only offering Level 3 for “normal” priced tickets, I’ll try again on Friday at general sale.
Just logged on again, the further down the list you go,the seat offerings improved/ more expensive, through a popular mobile phone provider ,you can get upto £450 pound tickets almost next to the stage,or on the front row, floor level.
