Just booked Sisters of Mercy tickets for September at Rock City in Nottingham. A bit of nostalgia for my teens, even though I was never an actual goth.

Nor was Eldritch a goth. Drug dealer from the house next to mine in our halls of residence. Thoroughly unpleasant individual and to this day he thinks he has the original Dr. Avalanche whereas I actually do. The band I was in at the time whipped that and their Watkins Copicat when we shared a rehearsal space.
I have 4 concerts coming up - Morrissey, Squeeze, Steve Hackett and Michy Reincke (Hamburg insider tip). I have seen all of them many times except Morrissey where I am taking a spare ticket.

Eric Clapton at GLive in Guildford (yes, Guildford !) in April. It’s a 1,000 seat theatre. Playing 2 nights, not sure why, but he is sort of local, maybe that’s why.

So far this year, ELO Again, Dirty DC, Music of Prince by Candle Light, The Smyths, Puressence, Foo Fighters, Jack Savoretti, Embrace and The Darkness. Still early days though!
