Cricket

I had so many jobs to do this morning. I think they can wait

What a test match that was!

That’s what happens when you bring back a proper wicketkeeper.

You can’t beat test cricket. Well done England and the bazeball mind set!

Getting value for my TNT subscription. Great cricket match. India looked ragged when put under under pressure both when bowling and batting. England have this inner confidence to still give it a go. They genuinely always seem to think that they have a chance.

Pleased for Hartley, he looked so nervous in the first innings. Stokes’ run out was a bit of magic too, and Jadeja doing a hamstring at the same time a double bonus perhaps! Leach won’t be fit either apparently.

Blimey!!!

Missed it today as well. Of course.

Just caught up with this thread. Really enjoyed reading the comments from 2 days ago. :grinning:

What a couple of Test matches. Still by far the best form of cricket.

Changes:

Two changes for England. From each end of the experience scale.

I heard that Bashir is 6’4". Rare for a spinner, I think.

‘Big Bash’?

For so many years England have resisted blooding new talent. I am pleased to see them taking the opportunity now.

I think it’s a case of horses for courses … but I wish him well.

The 2nd test India v England and the first ODI Aus v WIs both kick off around 2pm today (here at least). Looking forward to see how both India and Australia bounce back after surprise losses.

Is that another day night? Hadn’t realised they’d have more than one in a series.

The last day/night was a test (2nd), this is the first of 3 ODIs.
