All the best Dan, keep us informed.
Just arrived and checked in at Guildford Hospital. Set off at 830. So its a full day with the drive. Just hoping that they have an operation date!
We’re hoping too.
Liver op is next friday. Just seen the surgeon. Should be out on saturday.
Well at least its moving quickly, wish you the very best.
Great news Dan. Hoping that the op goes smoothly
Thanks to you all. Things are moving forwards. Be glad to get these two ops done and then be clear of any cancerous lesions.
Staying strong and positive!
That’s great news Dan.
Pleased to hear that you have a date for it.
Good news hope all goes well.
Great News Dan
Super news Dan. Don’t tell the doctors the Naim forum looks over their shoulder ! Wish you all the best.
Everything crossed for you
best wishes
Ian
Rooting for you Dan.
Been fiddling around all weekend. Had new dishwasher and washing machine delivered yesterday as both old appliances were on their way out.
Unfortunately dishwasher has a fault and leaks into the base of the unit. It has antiflood system which stops water going onto floor. Tried it 3 times after tilting dishwasher 45 degrees onto floor which clears water out. So although it’s antiflood, in order to clear fault you have to flood the floor!
Anyway, it will get sorted after op no doubt. At least washing machine is good.
And of course the vinyl was never done right on the floor and always gets damaged moving washing machines and dishwashers in and out. So have had to repair the vinyl floor as well. Took down section of ceiling yesterday afternoon at a customers house as shower is leaking. Turns out to be the waste so plumber will sort it. What a weekend!
Anyway got my shopping done and things organised for op friday. Bought lots of soup, bread and milk in preparation! Back at work tomorrow. Customers desperate for me to move things forwards! It’s relentless at moment. Maybe op and post op will give me downtime and an escape.
That’s Life!
Sitting back with an alcoholic drink and blasting system. F##k it! Time to chill!
A glass of something you like and some tunes to drink along to, sounds like the best way to wind down and get ready for the busy week ahead. Enjoy.
Working three days. Then thursday travelling to Guildford in the afternoon before liver resection friday. B&B at Guilford Hospital ! Very nice.
I think they may even provide an evening meal. In fairness they have a restaurant on ground floor and various cafes! It’s all very chic nowadays! Very continental!
Part looking forward to it and part dreading it! As to be expected. Gonna keep spinning the tunes. Listening to New Order and Depeche Mode on LP12. Sounds pretty good to me!
… and this is a man being treated for cancer.
Makes me exhausted just reading it.
I know it’s absolutely crazy! Life goes on, cancer or not!
