Am I alone in thinking Squires is massively overrated? I find his artistic skills to be rudimentary at best, and his attempts at humour to be clunky and puerile.

I don’t know if you’re alone but there are lots of people, including myself, who really like him. There are always lots of really well thought out details and I have to disagree on the quality of his drawing. He also does really good obits - his two recent ones for Bobby Charlton and Terry Venables were very moving. In the end, humour is always a very individual thing and it won’t be for everybody
But you know from his recent posts that he’s desperately paranoid.
Just seen that Giorgio Chiellini has announced his retirement. What a magnificent player he has been. Absolutely top-class defender. Thank you, Giorgio.

Is ETH really the problem? The rot starts at the top, and anything short of a major rebuild of the club, at every level, would be a classic case of rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.

Our return to the Champions League couldn’t have gone better so far progression to the knockout stages as Group winners.
Matches played 6 with 4 wins a loss and a draw 16 goals scored and 4 conceded.
Looking forward to the draw on Monday to see who we get in the next round and good to see
Emile Smith Rowe fit and getting minutes under his belt.
