You can just see U.K. sports journalists down the pub over a pint,
“F all going on today in the world of sport………………. Pop at Arteta? Go on then it why not?

Lighten up Bob it’s only a cartoon. BTW Squires also takes a dig at that Muppet Joey Barton.
He does make it so easy though Bob
Have a look up thread and see how many posts I don’t respond to and then tell me I’m easy
You misunderstand me Bob - I’m referring to Arteta, not to you
Am I alone in thinking Squires is massively overrated? I find his artistic skills to be rudimentary at best, and his attempts at humour to be clunky and puerile.
There. I feel better now.
I don’t know if you’re alone but there are lots of people, including myself, who really like him. There are always lots of really well thought out details and I have to disagree on the quality of his drawing. He also does really good obits - his two recent ones for Bobby Charlton and Terry Venables were very moving. In the end, humour is always a very individual thing and it won’t be for everybody
But you know from his recent posts that he’s desperately paranoid.
Just seen that Giorgio Chiellini has announced his retirement. What a magnificent player he has been. Absolutely top-class defender. Thank you, Giorgio.
A ‘proper’ defender. Take no prisoners. No messin’
Half of that is a summary of this thread.
I think he’s okay. Sometimes very good and often times not.
Very good.
Man Utd do know they have to win this Champs League game don’t they? They aren’t exactly making a good go of trying to score. And now they need 2 goals.
don’t know if it to do with rice, I will always be greatful for what he did at West Ham
, I have more of a problem with your manager and don’t get me started with arsenal tv
Horrid person. Fits in well with the rest of the club.
Another toothless display by Man U. When you know you have to win, and you’re at home, don’t you at least show some fight?
I wonder if the exit from European competition is the final straw for ETH.
To bite, you need teeth Bob. Otherwise you just end up with gummy blather.
Is ETH really the problem? The rot starts at the top, and anything short of a major rebuild of the club, at every level, would be a classic case of rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.
Our return to the Champions League couldn’t have gone better so far progression to the knockout stages as Group winners.
Matches played 6 with 4 wins a loss and a draw 16 goals scored and 4 conceded.
Looking forward to the draw on Monday to see who we get in the next round and good to see
Emile Smith Rowe fit and getting minutes under his belt.
