Hope to see Luton survive. Small club, tiny budget, giving a number of the minted clubs a bloody nose. They’re also good to watch - not everyone fighting for survival is. They appear to have an excellent manager.

Thanks, I hope so too. Let’s just say that I have been tuned to the updates from the game and have been holding my breath for the 10 minutes of extra time. I can’t believe that we were actually 2-4 up but will certainly take a point. MOTD tonight for sure. I await Andy’s view!

Big game tomorrow at the Emirates Arsenal v Liverpool.
Just got back home now Paul, it was a crazy game. Crazy! The thing that upset me the most was the referee and the linesman looking at each other for ages, waiting to see if anyone would make a decision on the ‘penalty’. Bizarre. I hate it. Also, Dan Burn getting hopelessly exposed for pace again. Yes, he’s from Blyth, and he’s scored for Newcastle in the Champions League, but there’s no place for sentiment Eddie. Drop him. Play Tino. That’s that.
Anyway, when we got back to 4-4 with 10 minutes to go, I fancied us. But it wasn’t to be. Fair play to Luton. They’re giving it a right go. Met some Luton lads in the pub who left home today at 5 am for the game. They’re supporters, not just fans, and they deserve these moments.

It sounds it Andy, I will have to catch the highlights on MOTD. It sounds like an absolute roller coaster but good to hear Pat Nevin say that he would be happy watching either side and Dion Dublin saying that he was absolutely shattered after watching - says it all. I am glad that we are giving it a go; there may be heartache to come (but I hope not) and even Martin Keown is changing ing his mind about us. Great that you met some of the supporters; we have a pretty dedicated set who are obviously making the most of Luton being in the Premier league. As you mentioned earlier with Isak out, scoring 4 was no mean feat today but I don’t think either defence would be happy with shipping 4 goals.

Big clash down at the Emirates Stadium this afternoon table toppers Liverpool v The Arsenal who are 3rd level on points with The Cheats in 2nd.
Win and we go 2nd just 2 points behind Liverpool loose and the gap looks to big to bridge at 8 points.
Nah, a gap of 8 points can be bridged as late as April, if the front runner obliges.
And if the team chasing down those 8 points has lied, cheated, built a team by financially doping and has 100 plus charges against them.

That was a tough watch. Not just because a stretched-looking Tartan Diego Simeone’s Massive Euro Cup Winning Cockney Bastards got well schooled (despite a decent first half) by old baldy’s minging Mancs, but also because of the Sky team’s vomit-inducing ManUre sycophancy/bias.
Still, at least Chelsea got battered and West Ham Women beat Arsenal in the WSL.
