A terrific game, with a great fighting performance by the Austrians. Like a few other B-listers, they’re just not good enough at creating chances.
The French aristos looked slick and classy – but how did they not score at least four goals?
Fingers crossed for Mbappe, who, as Deschamps said, Is “not well on the nose.” It’s a treat to watch him in full flight.

I was hugely impressed by Austria and Serbia and wished they got at least 1-1.
