Great match overall. Bit disappointing tactics wise in second half for England, but boy have the Serbs shown heart. England early on chose a side of the pitch to play the game and stuck with it; you have to admire the tenacity in that.

In the first half they didnât need a left wing, Saka had complete mastery of the right. Probably in the second, when he was less effective, we should have shifted left.
All of the losing sides so far, have shown great heart and pride - even in defeat - apart from one notable exceptionâŚâŚâŚ

France, Germany, Spain, Italy and Portugal will be quaking in their boots tonight.
I was reasonably happy as we normally lose or draw at this stage of competitions.
I thought central defence would be our weakness but was very impressed by the performance of Guehi.
I think fans have to appreciate teams have already been tested to get to this stage and their players and coaches are not mugs.

To be fair (and I realise youâre bantering 
), I donât think they will write us off either! It wasnât the performance we hoped for last night (our first games rarely are), but they know that we are a dangerous team.
This is not the time to play your peak football.
Just qualify, and then hopefully show your best form. And cut out the SouthgateyismsâŚ

I do wonder what Foden (Guardiola) and Bellingham (Ancelotti) must think when theyâre being coached by Gareth Southgate.
Kane from the little I have seen, via YouTube, has the advantage of having Sanè and particularly Musiala in the Bayern team. Musiala is a top player, imho. England often seem to play like Harry Enfieldâs Arsenal 1933 team (unti JosĂŠ Mourinho has a word at half time

Agree, was an excellent game.
If Holland were clinical with their attempts on goal, could have easily scored 5-6

Would it be fair to say weâve been waiting years for Belgium to be prodded into action? Their golden generation is/was genuinely golden but has so far delivered no more than Englandâs golden generations.
