Electricity went off just as kick off came round. Lost 8 mins and 41 seconds of the game. I was worried I’d missed the goals.

Not the most exciting half of football I’ve seen but least England haven’t lost it (or won it) yet.

As a neutral, I find that England is deployed very well by Southgate in the defensive phase, in fact it is the first time that Spain is unable to play their typical game and is often forced to cross from the midfield. I would say that Shaw in particular is doing excellent work.
