Only a couple of times.
And very popular with Soviet assassins, carrying glass poison bottles.
So much Naim goodness. Nice to see an OLIVE BOX in the rack.
We did have trouble holding Pete down (Richard had to forbid him entry to the Goods Out dept )
And as to be expected, we could have comandeered Steve Sells for much longer than the hour he kindly gave us for the technical side, and then would have been happy to sit in the demo room for the rest of the afternoon.
Indeed sounds like a great day. I must say I envy those who have had an opportunity to have the factory tour.
Just arrived home. It was a pleasure to host Forum members Suzywong, Ardbeg10y, By-Tor, Yorkshirepud, and of course Pete_the_painter at the Naim factory today. It has been many years since I conducted my last factory tour so I hope I wasn’t too rusty! For those who missed out today, I’m hoping that now Covid is further behind us that I can arrange a larger forum visit some time in the not too distant future.
A few pictures of today’s visiting team…
Are we going to have a guessing game as to who is who🤔
I’ll leave it up to the members as to whether they wish to identify themselves.
Of course, I’m the one behind the camera…
Richard if I knew you were going to take a photo I would have stood up.
I can confirm I recognise one of them. Lol.
Yes please
On the second photo you’ll see Steve conductiong our little choir.
I’m the young chap at the right in the last photo.
I don’t see a turntable in that listening room - couldn’t Naim stretch to a Solstice, or maybe even JV’s Phonosophie P3?
There was a solstice at the other wall of the room.
The numbers below the faces are missing.
You’re right - the Police always make felons hold up boards with numbers to identify themselves.
As a matter of interest, were there only five on that Factory tour?
That’s in Winchester.
‘Twas on the left side….and very shiny it was!
Yes, as it was just me as host, we were limited to five today.
If we do a proper forum visit and either Mark or Jason (or both) are available then we can have more people on the tour.
I’m the wizened old hippie next to the young person!
Far out man.
