Oh, one more:
- Don’t auto-reconnect app (and start playing) when device is in standby
Oh, one more:
Ability to browse Uniti Core server from remote.
Regards,
Sourav
…or any server, just like in the good old days!
Yes surely any server. But at least start with Naim’s own Uniti Core.
The 1st gen Naim streamers allowed you to browse any UPnP server via the remote/front panel display. Why they didn’t carry this over to the current range is a mystery.
Also it wud be great to have a Search option from Remote that wud provide a global search.
How about a landscape view for the iPhone ?
This would give feature parity with the iPad.
I only use iOS so I’m not sure if this is available on other platforms.
If only we had a bigger house - a proper drawing room would be lovely but we only have a boring 80s house. We’ve always called it the sitting room. Living room never really worked as we also ‘live’ in the dining room, and a lounge is what you have in a hotel or airport, rather than a home.
I’d like to have the play/paus etc in lockscreen so on doesn’t have to go into the app to paus music.
On iOS you can use the “widget” to access basic controls directly from the locked screen or home page.
True but not quite as convenient as accessing from the Lock Screen.
A quick R swipe from the lock screen and you’re in. I’m not sure you’re ever going to get the right buttons on the screen any faster than that.
HH, I would like to be Abe to just show the inputs that I use, regarding the Chromecast you can opt not to enable during set up or a factory reset.
Really, even for the legacy streamers?
You know I didn’t realise you could do that
Think already mentioned by others, but added the above to my list.
No, I’m afraid not.
I’d like to see a further implementation in HomeKit for the Airplay 2 devices. So you’re able to see it’s on/off status and control it’s status in HomeKit and use it with automations.
I am searching and trying out iOs apps for “controller”, playing my local server files from my idevice through headphones. Most of them I really dislike.
Suddenly I thought…I am so familiar with the Naim app over all these years, why can I not play on the local machine? Now that would be an awesome feature.
User benefits: Listening to the Naim system, touch the button on the app to continue streaming locally, attach the headphones (external usb dac/amp possibly) and relax.
Benefits for Naim:
Maybe adding mute icon to the Naim app or even more concentric circles to indicate greater volume. It currently remains the same regardless.
