Firmware update on mu-so1

as internet radio is not working on my muso1 - i tried to update the firmware - as this is not working via iPhone-app i started it over the web-interface. now the system “hangs” as an update-file is needed. has anyone this file for me / or ist there an option to stop/clear this job? thanks

The reason the firmware didn’t update via the app is it won’t be available till the 14th of Feb.

My MuSo 1 was prompting for a firmware update (new FW v2.1.1) after installing the new version of the app released in iOS today so I’m letting it update. It does seem to be stuck or slow applying the update though. It’s been 5 minutes plus with the LEDs spinning on the control wheel and I have a blue status light on the right side which indicates a firmware update in progress.

I’m going to leave it alone unless advised differently by Richard or Naim…

I wouldn’t install this until it’s confirmed the firmware release is actually ready.

The latest f&n app update says:

I’ve gone ahead and pushed the update button, let’s see what happens!

Taking one for the team?

I’ve been prompted to update also. QB1 currently out of commission, but hopefully after 15 mins (that’s the time mentioned) it will be up and running.

He’s brave man…mine is still stuck in update mode (solid blue LED). Hoping the new FW files are still small so they can be emailed for manual upload/recovery.

Someone’s got to be the first :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Ahhh…my app interface never showed a time for install completion. I feel somewhat better… I think.

Go on then, I’ve pressed the button on my Mu-So gen 1…

Wow! All the flashing lights! Is that good?

Ok confirmed legit

Mine QB1 went through various light sequences but is now back up and running. Removed all my presets and have just tried BBC R3 and that’s playing although it took ages to come up with a list of stations.

This is spinning clockwise, with the outer ring getting brighter then dimming, repeat.

Are those lights spinning or stationary? (Mine were spinning.)

After 30 minutes I power cycled the MuSo downloaded and applied the new firmware again with same results. This is with a MuSo hardwired to my router.

Mine were spinning to start with and then static as shown in Robert’s picture.

We are back in business!!!

All seems good.

You were right about 4.9 for legacy streamers btw!
