Kenneth Williams used to be spotted on occasion by colleagues heading down Gower St from his pad in Marylebone. Not by me though !
Still have my BC3 day/date 7501. Love it.
I had better not turn this into a thread on watches. But yes, great watch and excellent value for money.
Thing is, this discussion on Marylebone and (now) watches is more interesting than Focal speakers driven by Naim electronics. One of the many great things about forums are the digressions…
I am sure you are right, but I only joined the forum a few weeks ago and don’t want to be responsible for this thread being banished to the Padded Cell!
The only London terminus that still has diesel trains, but that could change.
Edit - that’s wrong as pointed out by David.
Don’t worry about that, the Padded Cell is where it’s at
I think Waterloo still has some diesel does it not? Mind you that could have changed since I stopped commuting.
Best
David
Not a bad prison cell imo, prefer your view though😉
Which one is that Chris?
Yeeesh
It does look like it will be somewhat painful on the ears, bare walls, tiny rug on a bare floor and a glass table, though at least that is off centre and have they converted a public lavatory? All that and Focal speakers too!
I am sure they could stack another black box on top of another in that Fraim if they really tried!
So that is what tall legs are for - to allow the stacking of black boxes on each other.
WTF!
Outraged, of Chesham.
Yes it looks like the preamp Is sitting directly on top of the PS. Not using Naim speaker cables. Looks like Nordost.
Not really a Selfridges shopper, but we bought our wedding bands there (Bulgari). It was an extremely pleasant experience — they didn’t make us feel out of place at any point. But of course we were out of place — junior academic and PhD student with no money… LOL.
Probably over 90kg for the stack already but what does that matter.
Yes, they could lighten the stack by getting rid of those superfluous Fraim levels, and simply stack the black boxes on each other.
