I’m really liking Cam Newton this year with the NE Patriots, though he has big shoes to fill with TB12’s departure. Cam brings an impeccable flair and style that’s been missing from Gillette Stadium for so long…wait isn’t this real Football?
Yes, this thread is about real football. You know, the kind where foot and ball routinely make contact. Not to be confused with that absurd spectacle that looks like rugby league with shoulder pads and helmets.
Was nice to watch a game last night without VAR.
Reminds me of what football was like.
Shame we didn’t come out the starting blocks until the second half.
As opposed to the absurd spectacle of the EPL where it’s no longer a contact sport.
Yes, always good to beat Chelsea, whatever the competition. New left back Reguillon looks promising. Big game tonight!
Great win for the Gunners last night against a Liverpool side that still had Mo Salah and Van Dyke for over an hour. Yes it was only the Carabao Cup and neither team was at full strength but we again showed huge resilience and a strength in defence not seen at Arsenal in 15 years. Our prize a quarter final against Man Citeh we are turning into cup specialists but that’s all good whilst Mikel Arteta builds this team into a force in the league too.
Some tasty fixtures this weekend Crystal Palace v Chelsea is 0-0 at the moment will Lampard’s job start to look vulnerable if he looses? Man City v Leeds a great derby,
Man U v Spurs and Arsenal v Sheffield Utd. Predictions?
The Mighty Whites to win 2-1 … well, I can always hope, surely?
M.O.T.
Well done Chelsea a good win and congratulations to Everton too.
That’s an interesting top 6 in the premier league table tonight!
I eat my words and go to bed happy (NUFC fan)
Such a shame for that nice Ashley Barnes to be on the losing side.
Another happy fan here. 3 goals in one match was a nice surprise.
Always good to see enthusiasm! :-))
Another excellent - if unexpected - performance from the mighty Irons. Another convincing win and a clean sheet against a much-fancied team. Ahead of Spuds and both sets of Mancs in the table too!
Definitely wasn’t expecting that result. Well done the Hammers
While last week I complimented Rodgers on out-thinking Pep, I have to say I think today Moyes out-thought Rodgers. The Foxes’ usual creativity was snuffed out by a well-organised defence - not an attribute that I traditionally associate with the Hammers - and on the counter West Ham looked very threatening. Credit Moyes and his players.
Not any more, Kev…
Now I don’t feel so bad about the thrashing the Spuds gave us two weeks ago at St Mary’s.
Good lord! Man Utd are awful. Maureen will be feeling even smugger than usual.
so will it be Son or Kane who gets the hat-trick?
