Aubameyang and Lacazette both need long breaks. Xhaka needs a permanent one. And the team needs a true leader on and off the pitch.
I’ll say it again then. Arteta made two major mistakes and the Gunners will pay for them until he fixes both.
…and only 5 points off the relegation places.
I think you are probably right about Aubameyang at least and Lacazette is being played out of position but to be fair he has lacked consistency ever since he came from Lyon. The good news on the attacking front is that Gabby Martinelli played for the u23’s last week and isn’t far away from full fitness and in the Europa League another young striker Florian Balogun is looking very promising.
I believe Aubameyang has scored more goals against Arsenal than for them this season.
Looking forward to Arsenal (A) and Man City (H) for my Saints this week.
Must be nice to contemplate those fixtures as now being against sides lower down the table, Chris.
A very very pleasant change from this time last year Mike, where I’m told we were 19th after 12 games.
Pompey flying high too.
This time every year.
Actually you’re wrong 2 for 1 against.
Rats. Good dig though🙂
I would say to all those football supporters revelling in Arsenal’s present demise enjoy it whilst you can especially those of you from another North London club because we will come back and stronger we always have and always will.

Undoubtably will, but might I respectfully ask “could you wait until Thursday please, coz we need the points” ’
Nearly a third of the season gone and in the PL there’s only a 5 point spread between the clubs in the top half of the table. Don’t think I can recall an occasion when things have been so tight. Certainly makes things interesting.
Well it looks like Slaven Billic has paid the price for being too successful last season in getting an average West Brom team promoted to the Premier League. Given the club only signed the players we had on loan last season and added an average Championship striker in Karlan Grant and a 36 year old Ivanovic who is past it to the squad how could they expect the team to stay up this season, and to make matters worse it now looks like they are going to appoint Sam F**cking Alladyce as our new manager. I am totally disgusted. I only have two more words to say, Alladyce Out.
Fat Sam now confirmed
Hippo Head for the Baggies it is then. Arsenal will now have to settle for Pulis
Ooof.
Anyway, how’s Connor Gallagher getting along?
From what I have seen, I would say he has been our best player over the last few games, he looks a class above the other midfielders, but then again when you consider they are Romaine Sawyers, Matt Phillips and Jake Livermore it is not to hard to outshine them, but I think he has a bright future ahead of him.
My sympathies @Redkev. Players and fans will now have to adjust to a very different playing style. I would summarise Big Sam’s as: ‘whack’ when the opposition have the ball; and ‘hoof’ when we get possession.
