Bring it on ASAP.
No doubt he’ll have the same effect on the club as another ex Rangers manager, Graame Sourness.

Luton and Watford - maaan - those are rough games. Local to me (now) and REAL local needle. Keep your Old Firm, they board the shops up for miles around*
*in the case of Luton, they just keep them boarded up
You know - I think (as a fellow Leeds fan) it might be the one where the London hoodoo is broken… Just a feeling…
(Sorry for sharing it - obviously they’ll get thrashed now)
That win for Fulham - wow - Newcastle and Brighton well and truly in there with them…
Of those three - Newcastle look the most vulnerable. Big players out - low on confidence - infighting (apparently) - and the tactical brain of Steve Bruce.
Dark days in the North East - and easy to see darker ahead.
Here’s hoping…
Rumours that both Phillips and Rodrigo may play.
M.O.T.
I saw they both travelled - pictures all over Twitter of them at Leeds Station this afternoon - chances DEFINITELY improved if they both play, especially with Kalvin playing that quarterback role in midfield.
Rodrigo had a good run out for the 23’s on Friday - scored a couple - so bodes well!
What’s the closest ground to Palace? …Stamford Bridge i suspect… Oh dear.
Or if she calls Windsor Castle home, I dunno - Brentford??
Sandringham Naarwich I’d have thought (although I don’t really know where it is - but I know it’s Norfolk)
Balmoral - well - Super Callie (go ballistic Celtic are atrocious) ?
I’m amused by the idea both that Klopp has a reputation for walking away but also that several weeks won’t take the shine off five years. Both naive.
The existence of a modern manager is exhausting. No-one could now do what Wenger and especially Ferguson did in terms of longevity. It would kill them. Dyche at Burnley is incredible. Good to remind ourselves that Pep has taken breaks and that a good manger like Howe appeared utterly bereft of ideas and broken by the time he left last season. Klopp left Borussia on the down turn and in desperate need of a break.
Liverpool won’t hesitate to court controversy and sack Klopp but only if an outstanding replacement is in sight. The combination of zero crowd income allied to the prospect of no CL will potentially speak louder than anything else. Not saying it will happen but the refusal to buy a replacement for VVD was a combination of not seeing obvious candidates other than very expensive ones which couldn’t be justified given the lack of income. Nevertheless only the manager will be punished.
Our enforcer, Berardi, also put himself about with the Under-23s.
I was really pleased that the club did the right thing by him, offering him a further one year contract, following his serious injury sustained whilst out of contract.
M.O.T.
It really says so much about the club that they did that. Love Beradi - hopefully at least a few fans will get into ER for the last game of the season to big him - and likely Hernandez - farewell.
As was suggested on this thread some days ago. Do try to keep up, Mr Cat
Sorry Mike I just don’t buy into the Sean Dyche love affair he’s just a young Sam Allardyce he reminds me of the brother of an ex -girlfriend a real dour Northerner who back in the late 80’s called me a Southern Poof for wearing boxer shorts no doubt he wore big Y Fronts woven from Ferret hair.
Ah yes, the good old, bad old days which to be fair were a long time ago; we were cast into the wilderness some 12 years ago (as Mike will painfully testify with Wrexham) but even then Watford were either in the Premiership or Premiership bound and we were rapidly falling the other way so the local derbies have been fewer & fewer over the years. The last I remember was a 4-1 drubbing at home and the police had a field day hoiking folk out. The game at Watford this season was the most passionless affair that I have ever witnessed; the lack of a crowd had a real impact on both sides and it felt more like a pre season friendly. To add to the irony I work in Watford and keep my thoughts in check on match days. It was very true about the shops being boarded up by the way - the scanning of the fixture list was a must for the traders unfortunately but at least Millwall brought our seats back
Haha. My point with Dyche was solely that such longevity is increasingly rare. What I think of him as a manager is a whole other post.
Looks a bit like Neil Young.
If Leeds ever manage to take all their chances, someone is going to get a good hammering. Well done the Hammers, very hard to beat.
I thought we gave you a better game this time, the reverse fixture showed how good West Ham have become this season. “It’s a long way from Big Sam if you wanna rock 'n roll”!!
The Irons may not have been at the top of their game, but with our dreadful finishing and misplaced passes all night long, they didn’t need to be!
Seemed that Raphinha was intent on taking on West Ham all on his own last night … he just never gives up.
Still, well done you Irons!
