Come on West Ham, my nails have taken a real hammering these past three games! We need to stop fading like this. We have scored nine goals in three games, and conceded seven!
Still, onwards and upwards, still top team in London! And to win with two of our best three players out injured is quite impressive.
COME ON YOU IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRONS!!!
The Spuds could live a parallel existence in another Universe in a perpetual dream state and still never ever come even half way close to the trophy haul amassed by Arsenal football club in just the past 25 years. But back on planet Earth down here in the real world in their desperate clamour for a trophy any trophy the Spuds got rid of one of the best young coaches in the World and hired a tired old has been.
I thought you had learned your lesson WW you currently sit 4 points above us with 6 games remaining so we will see what the next month brings but I’ll give you one thing whilst every other Spuds fan I know is keeping a very, very low profile your still puffing your chest up giving it large so well done for that.
Actually, at that moment in the game, McTominay shouldn’t have even been on the field, after brutally scything down Ndombele earlier. The ref bottled it of course.
But then again, neither should Pogba have been still on the field after his blatent elbow into Aurier’s face.
I don’t think anyone that watched that touch on the face, other than Spurs fans, would describe it as a Wack. There were poor challenges all over the pitch from both sides, but that wasn’t one of them. Indeed all of the pundits ,both live during game, and also on MOTD agreed that Son wildly overreacted. Put quit simply, most footballers of today, wouldn’t be able to cope with the game as it should be played, they’d have more chance of winning a Bafta/Oscar for the way they carry on.
On the contrary,it was discussed, they came to the preposterous conclusion that because Pogba is taller than most players,it’s inevitable that he will catch people with his elbows. As I said there were poor tackles from both sides that went unpunished, the difference with Son was that he was barely touched, yet dropped like he’d been shot, that to me is cheating,by the way I have no allegiance any premiership side,I,for my sins,am Chester supporter, but am just a bit tired of watching top flight footballers acting like wimps.
But he WAS touched. McTominay put his hand into Son’s face, whack or no whack can be discussed… His arm was at an unnatural height and behind him. He knew what he was doing.
The fact is it was a foul (you cannot put your hand in someone’s face !). As such, McTominay should have been red carded (2 yellows).
Can you tell me of any Spurs player who made a challenge which should have been red carded . I have already outlined how both Pogba and McTominay should have been off but didn’t notice a similar situation with a Spurs player. Maybe I missed something and you can enlighten me ?
