As I understand it,Son attempted to pull McTominay back,so I suppose it was his reaction to stick his arm out.I never said that it wasn’t a foul, just that Sons reaction was embarrassing. As for fouls by Spurs players,I’m guessing the amount of times several players stood on feet coming in late doesn’t count.I’m guessing you are just sore at losing, but I’m not really bothered either way about either of the teams, and you ,as aSpurs fan should probably be used to being almost a top four team, have a nice day .
OK so we agree. It WAS a foul, meaning McTominay as well as Pogba should have been red-carded, and there was no incident where a Spurs player should have been re-carded.
Thank you.
Some perspective please, have you seen the play acting that is now rife in all the teams in the Premiership?
Son clearly got hit with a flailing hand and it looked deliberate to me. But besides that, just about any player would have gone down for that.
For me, Solskjærs comments were clearly over the top, we all know if the situation were reversed…
We agree it was a foul, but the histrionics that ensued by one player to another, with the intent of getting a sending off is shameful, the referee, far from bottling it,I think called it correctly,by looking at the monitor, wiping off the goal, and taking no further action, using common sense to see what Son was after. All I can say is that I’m glad I support my very low level team, and don’t have to witness prima donnas every week.
It’s becoming a real concern with Social Media reacting to what is seen and heard on the TV.
Nutters perceive the stakes in Prem. Football to be so high, they feel the need to abuse players at whim. Childish overreaction comments like Solskjærs only feed the trolls.
The histrionics (as you claim) are not relevant here. It was a deliberate hand-in-face foul, and by the laws of the game it was a yellow card offence, whether it hurt Son in any way or not. McTominay had to go. The ref. bottled it.
I thought it was about feeding the kids? Bread is bread . As for Jose well, his Porto team were quite frankly a disgrace when it comes to play acting, time wasting, general behaviour.

Absolutely. Ole’s comments were a disgrace. Firstly, they were clearly wrong, blinkered and insulting, and secondly, they easily provoke the nutters in our society.
Agree with that as well, the whole lot of them need to get on with playing football, the way it should be played,I’m fed up of hearing things like, took one for the team, professional foul,if your touched in the box go down, their all guilty of it,and as you rightly say,the coaches and managers are just as bad. They could stop this by instructing players to behave, but of course there’s too much money at stake these days.Don’t even get me started on VAR and all of it’s failings.
As my fellow Celtic fans will attest, after Porto “won” the Europa League in 2002 with a particularly thespian display against the Bhoys.
Disgraceful ? Nah. I thought they were quite good at it actually…

Yep the good old days last August when we won the FA Cup and beat the runaway PL champions in the Charity Shield.
…on penalties. Wink!
Of course ! How could I forget the Charity Shield…
So we’re playing the team next to bottom, in a game that Lawro had us down to win 2-0
Naturally, we’re two down!
The thing is to win the Charity Shield you would have had to win either the Premier league or the FA Cup first so obviously it wouldn’t mean too much to a Spud like yourself but I’d be wrong because you’ve actually won the CS 4 times WW though the last time was back in 1275 sorry I meant 1961.
Loaning out Minamino to get him some game time has not worked out for either him or Klopp.
Has he played since he scored that goal about 5 weeks ago?
Along with Leeds, love watching W Brom at the mo, big Sam has sprinkled his magic!
Hippo Head is doing what he’s always been good at (no disrespect intended).
I’m thinking that Ralf H’s days are numbered
