A good result for the Baggies but I think they are still doomed - with their poor GD they are effectively 9 points behind 17th place will only seven games to play. The Saints meanwhile can be confident of another PL season, though Ralf probably has some work to do during the summer.

No VAR review of the Lo Celso tackle on Rashford in the half which was a clear foul and possibly a penalty. No consistency.
What we saw in this game is a referee watching a slow motion replay of a player diving and then feigning injury and the ref giving that player the decision

Great win for the Arsenal 4-0 away at Sparta Praha now for Unai Emery’s Villareal and a possible final against Man Utd now wouldn’t that be nice.
And, we’re out. Dominating for two games. Keeper error, lucky goal, etc.
Somehow we can’t deal with Italian teams. Roma wasn’t any good really, sure they will go out next round. Real shame.
Unlucky n-lot it’s a real shame I felt like you would have brought more to the remainder of the competition than Roma and would have made a great tie with United.

That was a very satisfying result for us. We dominated Watford from the very start (which was an improvement over recent games) but just could not put the ball in the net despite so much possession and so many opportunities. With these sort of games you come to expect some retribution but surprisingly none was forthcoming - an offside goal but that was it really and a nice early bath for the Watford defender who bizarrely decided to push LuaLua one more time. Honours even for the season.
And an early & deserved confirmation of promotion for Norwich - well done guys.

Let the greedy c***s go. Expel them from their domestic leagues, as well as Uefa and Fifa competitions, and sue them for billions in lost TV revenue. The rich “franchises” can enjoy their no-promotion/no-relegation ghetto without me and, I suspect, millions of others.

Didn’t Rangers and Celtic want to join the ENGLISH premier league, not so long ago. 
That’s not analogous to the current shenanigans. Some involved in the Old Firm have long eyed Murdoch’s billions with envy. But there has never been a serious plan for either club to head south.
We’ve just won the cup, and being ahead by 11 points with a game in hand there’s only a mathematical chance the league title will evade us.
If for no other reason it wouldn’t take very long for both Glasgow clubs to displace two English teams in the top 6, and that would never do.
