The Summer transfer window opens today with the big news that Chelsea have sold Marc Cucurella to Real Madrid for £46 million in Chelsea’s financial position with 2 years left on his contract and for a 27 year old it makes good sense.
As usual Arsenal are rumoured to be interested in signing everyone but the big news this weekend is that they are leading the race to sign Lille’e teenage, Moroccan midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi who looked a real player against Brazil in the World Cup.
No doubt Arteta will be busy assessing how long it will take him to coach out all the natural flair that Bouaddi possesses. 
Bouaddi isn’t a creative, flair type midfielder he’s more 6 than 10 he’s ability is more in picking up the ball and running with it splitting the opposition midfield that way rather than with his passing more of a box to box player. Nice bit of utterly pointless Arteta bashing though.
Well. That is the flair I mentioned.
That will have to stop, premiership is all about playing the percentage game.
If you’d have posted Chelsea were going to sign him, I’d have posted the same thing, but referenced the Chelsea manager.
But. At the end of the day, he might be a talented player. But I doubt any premiership club would sign a player based on one performance.
Arsenal first made contact with the player’s representatives over a year ago as you rightly say there isn’t a Premier League side who would sign a player from just one performance.
Most Premier League scouts would have been aware of the talents of a player this good from the age of 11-12 and once he is making 10+ appearances in one of Europe’s top leagues alarm bells would be going off.
Is Christos Tzolis going to Arsenal? Keep reading reports about deals being discussed, but nothing seems to be moving.
At this stage only rumours but they are that Christos Tzolis is keen on the move and that personal terms will not be an issue great player and still only 24. Miguel Delaney of the Independent has posted that Arsenal are serious in their pursuit of both Bradley Barcola and Morgan Rodgers and as all three are left sided players I’m not sure.
We had him here in Dus, activated the buy clause for €4m and promptly sold him for €6.5m (or was it €8m? Either way.) Now I’m hearing numbers in excess of €40 to Arsenal. Ridiculously bad player management.
To compound that error, we then sold Ao Tanaka to Leeds for peanuts as well.
And people wonder why Fortuna is now in division 3.

We have just the one tricky game I think within the first few weeks, Brighton have been flying.
Tonali is a great player, though he didn’t have the best of seasons last time. This will be a typical Septic 6 move. Spurs will agree the fee/personal terms. Then a ‘bigger’ team will just come in and pay bigger wages, and steal the deal. Probably Man Utd, to replace Casemiro. It’s just the way football is now…
I would love him to stay at Newcastle. We paid his wages for a year, while he was banned for the gambling thing. But there’s no loyalty.
I do get how you must all be feeling up there Andy I remember well when you welcomed in the Saudis many of you dressed in thobes and ghurtas debating wether you should sign Mbappe or Neymar and now you’re loosing players with gambling problems to Spurs and have Eddie Howe as a manager 
Looking like LUFC have Wilson over the line (subject to a medical) on a Free. If true, fingers crossed, it’s a super signing. Just had the season of his life so in his Prime. Hoovering up the Welsh squad is an interesting tactic.
