Good Remasters List

I’ve got a Japanese SHM/ Platinum/MQA version of Wishbone Ash, Argus… Holy Moly !! Great music , fabulous sound.

I haven’t heard it yet, but apparently the remastered ‘In the Court of the Crimson King’ is very well done. And Jerthro Tull’s Aqualung, as well.

As I recall, Steven Wilson originally remixed Jethro Tull’s Thick as a Brick, but someone else remastered (and compressed) the mix. Steven Wilson then had to go back and remaster the album (so I think the CD version is bad, but the downloads are fine).

I tried the Qobuz SW TaaB and much prefer my original cd ‘fatboy’ case first press.

If it ain’t broke…

I have all of PG solo work on half speed masters, So is superb on half speed (my copy is from Society of Sound) - Melt is also exceptional

as I just wish most artists would pay as much detail to the recording as PG does

enjoy the LP12 upgrades (karsouel one of them?)
