I’m not sure about the first Beatles themed turntable you showed FR, but I always thought that the Yellow Submarine one looked rather fun. No doubt now changing hands for a lot more than they did originally too.

Te Harley Davidson TT is not my cup of tea but surely judging by a picture of a piece of HiFi is rather missing the point. How does it sound is rather more important and will indicate if it is worth the asking price.

To me it’s the kind of thing that may seem like a good idea at the time but which you would grow to hate the sight of!
You have a point. If it sounded as musical as say a top spec LP12 then I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it. If I had any vinyl that is.
If, as anecdotal evidence suggests, at least some people are buying vinyl just because it looks cool around the home, surely buying buying a turntable just because it (in the eye of the beholder) looks cool is merely the next step on this path of silliness.
I regard all this sort of thing as yet another tax on stupidity.

H-D are known for their pace, rhythmic timing and sonorous bass.
I bought a pair of vases 10 years ago just because I thought they look nice.
I can’t even be bothered to buying flowers to stick in them.
How crazy is that.
It does seem very strange that anybody would be concerned about how strangers spend their own money.
A lot of it about sadly.

Are you a bit regretful that you sold your P10 and looking to get another TT?
No regret, maybe a little bit sometimes. However if i had the cash for an SME 35 or 60, i would buy it .

FR…you no longer have a TT. I no longer like this alternative.
If i buy a tt, one day, it will be ceetainly an SME. But for now i don’t think on that at all.
