Zero.
I won’t rent music. For new music discovery I prefer to let someone else drive so use web radio which is free. Between free and very varied web radio and my own NAS and vinyl, I have everything I need.

One Qobuz, can’t see the need for more than that. I use it as an addition to my library
I use Apple Music, Spotify Premium, Qobuz, Tidal, and Deezer for different reasons, depending on my location while traveling and driving. I primarily use Spotify lossless music while at home, but I switch to vinyl when I need to listen attentively and critically.
Technically I have YouTube music but that is just because I get premium to watch YouTube without ads. I have my own music collection which is what I listen to.
A pool might help…
How many music streaming services are you subscribed to?
What service do you use?
Seems like I can only pick one service.
Qobuz via Roon. That’s the entirety of my digital music life. Mostly analog otherwise.
None. Listening to my local files on my Sonic Transport I7. Buying a bit on Bandcamp and looking for new music there
One, being Tidal. Thousands of cds and lps here but I use Tidal for discovery often leading to purchase.
I use Presto and Qobuz
I like to buy CDs and vinyl , preferring physical ownership, but it is reaching the stage where I have too many albums
Both my services make a point about artists payments being fair.
PS I do like your

Hi Ian
Great that you have checked out remuneration for the artist - they are the life blood of our hobby and deserve a decent payment.
I’m glad you like the avatar - it seemed appropriate with my name, age and some of my early telly watching.
I use Qobuz with Audirvāna myself, kids are on Spotify Duo and we have a family account for YouTube Premium (mostly for the visual content).
Tidal via Roon and I’ve also got Spotify since they went lossless. Still deciding re Spotify, though it’s presenting me with a lot of music that I otherwise would not have discovered. It’s future also looks completely secure, which is another consideration. Looks like they just revamped the appearance of the app to look rather more like what I’m used to in Roon, as far as general appearance is concerned. Prices are cheaper here in Portugal, €7.49 for Tidal and €8.95 for Spotify. My wife has Apple Music. I have not bought a CD in several years now and my collection of around 2000 of them is boxed up in storage in the UK. All purely a matter of practicalities for me.
Just use a VPN and set it to Albania.
Job done.
Apple Music and Tidal. I find the Tidal algorithm for identifying new artists and musical areas of interest new and old really positive and the communities of shared play lists great. I also find the artist and album information and bios of interest too. I guess Tidal appeals also to the music community and environment as well as providing great quality stream masters.. which works for me.
I have tried Spotify, Qobuz and Deezer. I only really have Apple Music for the smartphone / car and get it as part of a discount bundle.
Tidal pays more per stream to the artist / rights holder than Apple and significantly more than Spotify which is is important for me which is why I won’t use Spotify now, it feels almost exploitative when others can pay so much more.
Tidal also sounds superb now on Naim…though this can vary slightly on different Naim software releases.
Just Tidal since I had a free trial when purchasing my ND5 XS2 in 2019, then upgraded to high resolution (inadvertenelty months before it was supported). More than adequate for my purposes, including on my Qb2, work PC and phone. And I like that it is better than most for artist royalties.
Whilst I only stream music, the number of music streaming services to which I subscribe can be counted without hands: zero. I stream music from my own store of files, downloaded plus ripped from vinyl and CD. To sample new music I use free services like Spotify, uTube, Bandcamp (best sound quality tot so important for hear if I like the music). Multiple reasons for my not subscribing to any:
I want my favourite music to be available whenever I want to play it, in perpetuity. Online streaming services are known to change their catalogues from time to time, sometimes completely removing albums or artists. Streaming providers, and indeed internet connections, have also been known to have periods of downtime.
Also I understand that streaming services don’t carry all music everyone may like and want to play, even if they were to subscribe to multiple services, and I did once out of interest look up some things on Qobuz which confirmed that they certainly didn’t carry all the music I’d want - even multiple subscriptions may fall short.
And I have a rooted dislike of rental, whether music, computer software, hifi, car, home or anything else, and will only do so if unavoidable.
I know a lot of people dislike Spotify and Apple because they pay less (and in reality most artists will only get a fraction of that, after the record company). However, the sheer number of subscribers to Spotify and Apple means that most artists will make more from them than the likes of Tidal or Qobuz.
Do you think the masters created by/for Tidal sound better than the masters created by/for Qobuz (without MQA). I know these can be different, but I have n’t used Tidal for a while.
