Thanks - maybe someday I will try. I also have an nDAC which can use instead. But I am totally in love with nd555. And I am really convinced that it beats the nDAC as DAC and the zenith as streamer ?

What should I do for best burn in period?
Is it enough to stream on mute from nd555 24/7 for some time or should I borrow equipment so that I can burn in the zenith as player as well? —> connect any DAC for example and let him play?

The Innuos is so good - so lively and full.
Too sad, that I could not keep it and buy another one. Hope the new one will be equally good.

To be honest, I didn’t notice any burn in period with my Zenith.

@Buryfc Just saw that you use it in a a bit similar system.
Do you manage to get the sense app working flawless via upnp bridge controlling the nd555
Good to know that is also a naim innous team 
I’ve never really used the Sense app as it doesn’t allow you to control volume. If there is a work around for that I’d be interested to know.
The next update, InnuOS 2.5.5 will give you volume control, via + and - volume control buttons. 
Doesn’t with with the ethernet workaround, usb ok though.
Are you testing beta 2.5.5 ?
No, but if the slider does not work……
All I can add, is that the slider works for me, when using ethernet.
Hopefully, the buttons will work for you, on the next release.

Innous is standing in its final position.
But - I need to order a new one.
How should I burn it in…
Hook it up as a server only (it is my setup with nd555 as streamer) and let the streamer (nd555 or nd5xs2 in second system) play 24/7?
Or should I borrow a DAC from my dealer and let the Innuos play as well.
If the player section not used - it should not run in properly. But I do not need it by now 
I can also buy a cheap usb-DAC for run sessions only ?
You just your system running 24/24, with volume at 0. The Innuos will burn in naturally.

24/7 with long playlist is as I run in the PN
I burnt that way my Melco. It opened after maybe 200 hours.
You use it as server as well - innous also talks of 200 hours …

I’d wait and see how your new one performs. Maybe you won’t get that strange noise from your speakers when you skip forward in tracks……
