None of us know, the facts are the current range discontinued and there isn’t any news available on any possible replacements.
The amps were discontinued citing a shortage of components for ongoing production.
Last year Naim were interviewed about new products and said they were waiting to see how the market was moving and didn’t have anything due in near term.
Hi @Fumi. Are you currently in the market for a Naim integrated? If so, all three amps are still available new, at least in the UK, but you would need to get a move on. Of course, there’s plenty of used ones around.
I have to say that my very local and fantastic dealer has said that Naim have ‘completely lost it!’
There maybe some truth in that as they are not making any cd players now and, by the looks of it, no SN3 replacement either
I think Naim are now concentrating on the Atom type units… that probably makes some sense but if that’s the case they will loose a lot of long term fans
I tried my best to like the Atom HE with active ATC’s but in the end it just didn’t cut it compared to my XS3 & passive 19’s
While I love my XS3 I do think it’s the end of the road for Naim as we know it
They are most unlikely to tell anyone future product plans. I would imagine your dealer was probably told something one way or another, but is unable to tell you as he has been told not to.
You’ve said that a lot on various threads, but it’s not a universal finding, rather a personal opinion and that is a rather thin basis to sound Naim’s death knell.
These threads recycle periodically. There has been no new information for quite a while. It might be better if people searched before starting a new thread about the same issue
Hello Jaybar, you are right, the Naim integrated threads are turning in circles. And neither a dealer, neither Naim, won’t announce a new integrated before it launch.
It may never happen also.
Then there are turning in circles posts, like “ i much preferred my XS3 into passive ATC 19 vs ATOM HE into active “, or “ I went for 333 and can say it’s much better vs Ndx2/ Xpsdr”.
I am tongue in cheek. ( taquin in french).
It’s more a pub than a library here Jaybar. Yes the same stuff gets discussed over and over but that’s partially because we’re excited with Naim or other Hifi.
