I’ve been fairly happy with the iRadio workaround for my legacy Uniti:

I’m interested in how other legacy Uniti users work around the fact that the lost the radio internet service on their system? I’m now in the acceptance phase that my legacy Uniti will not connect to iRadio stations anymore. I’ve installed a workaround with an AudioCast M5 streamer. In fact I’m quite happy with it; The sound quality is good, plays my favorite iRadio stations and it can connect to several internet radio services like TuneIn, vTuner and has Spotify/Tidal connect. But prices are dropping for 2nd hand Uniti 2’s. So I bought one for 500€. In fact I’m the 3rd owner of this Uniti 2. I had to do the update to firmware 4.9. It took my some time to find an antique USB cable with the mini port. And after the update I had the well known issue with that 1 iRadio station still trying to connect. But, after deleting all presets, update again, factory reset, the “list” button on the Uniti gave me an option to store and delete more presets. After this all iRadio stations showed up in the app. So iRadio works again and now I have Spotify/Tidal connect and more power.

I have a legacy Uniti.
I attached my Apple TV (HDMI Splitter) as my streamer. Note: apparently Apple Music via Apple TV is now HiRez in OS27 though I haven’t configured this on my setup.
