I thought I had one when I played Spot The Difference between the two but it wasn’t - the same bauble was there but lit better in the green pic.
So…you pack it away like that, or do you have a template/last year’s photo to go by?
No, it’s completely random as to where the lights and baubles end up, but firing up each set of lights to “slow fade” seems, somehow, to synchronise the overall effect of blue / green, versus red / yellow.
No skill on my part, pure luck, I’m afraid.
You have great pure luck then!
Or an eidetic memory, lol…
Just look at the groupings, one year apart:
Happy Christmas!
Nah, I now see where the confusion is coming from.
The piccies aren’t last year / this year, they’re both this Chrissy green / blue fade and red / yellow fade.
Sorry for misleading you.

Merry Crimbo.
Aaah…got it.
Duh, I got that all wrong!
Bee of little brain, lol.
I think Nigel that’s one of those ideas that might seem logical but perhaps best not implemented.
Here you go
All done this afternoon by Mrs Hanumike, the only thing I can take responsibility for are the Naim boxes twinkling to the left which obviously add the finishing touch
Not strictly Christmas trees. But all my own handiwork in the steady drizzle outside my house this morning. You won’t find any bah humbug round my gaff…
We’re a bit late this year after a busy few weeks. My wife went looking for a tree but was put off by Pine linked inflation (her actual words were ‘I’m not paying eighty five quid for a f–king tree…’ in the manner only a daughter of Glasgow can manage.)
So she got the self assembly one out of the loft yesterday and spent the day putting in together and making it look pretty. Good job I feel. And Margot approves.
A fakeing tree?

We bought a tree from our local garden centre a few weeks ago and it’s been in the garden. They sell ‘non standard’ trees for a very reasonable £25 and the one we bought looked perfect to us. It looked like the right size to me, though Mrs HH wasn’t convinced and thought it was too big. We brought it indoors and of course she was right. It nearly touched the ceiling and was so wide it took too much light. So yesterday we chopped nearly three feet off the bottom and are now just using the top. It doesn’t look too bad and is certainly a lot less dominating.
Heart button pressed for the wife not the tree.
Lovely cat.
