I noticed that Spotify had cds by Dan Nimmer. Wynton’s Lincoln centre orchestra’s pianist.
Nothing on Qobuz. Q library is often way behind Spotify.
But I did find this little wonder. LJRC rhythm and Walter Blandings.
Approachable,musical and probably popular but widely divisive on here.
I like Willy’s later lyrics. They rhyme with my view of life.

Any one who has followed British Jazz for many years will be saddened to learn of the death of Tina May.
A bright spark who was quite unique and always gave us a 100pc in Jazz Clubs.

Couple from todays listening.
As usual right down the middle of the mainstream road.
Duke,Pass,Brown and Belson sounding as though they are having a great time.
Just the four. Dave Green holds it all together.

Sadly Gerard never seems to register on many radars.
All these Zephyrs are now on Qobuz and feature Brian Lemon but as he is not always the lead artist Qobuz’s librarian struggles.
