Didn’t know this one. Lovely.
While I am cleaning some records I am listening to some impressive CDs from the Esbjörg Svensson Trio.
Masterpieces in European Jazz and one of the artists who guided me more in to the big fields of Jazz
Listening to this one only yesterday.

e.s.t. essentials = the three albums?

Seven Days of Falling a big favourite here…
The track Believe, Beleft, Below is sublime.
Enjoy

PS Don’t forget the hidden track.
Was lucky enough to see them around the time Seven Days of Falling was released.
At Turner Sims Southampton and Juan Le Pins in the South of France.

What a coincidence, I just posted the above (Hamburg) and see you’ve done likewise
This should be the moment where we should meet up and drink a glass of wine together. Unfortunately we are too far away
Another excellent E.S.T. live album…
Enjoy

Just give me the bottle
Been checking out Melissa’s solo stuff…awesome
I’ve been a big fan of EST since being a music student in the 90s. These are my only two vinyl versions of their records which are currently on high rotation.
(The bass on the Gothenburg LP shakes my house - not sure if it’s meant to be that present in the mix!)
Wife’s piano used as a record stand. Seems appropriate for Mr S.

It is!
Still on an E.S.T. theme…
Guitarist Ulf Wakenius’ album of his fellow, late, countryman Esbjörn Svensson compositions…
Enjoy
