Jazz Music Thread

Hi Nick
Wikipedia, Discogs and SonnyRollins.com all list the personnel on this November 1953 date as per my post.
Perhaps Daryl Runswick know’s something they don’t.
Dave

Probably, having played with Tubbs,Dcik Morrisey etc he has a set of Jazz Ears.
Wikipedia as gospel. Hmmmm :flushed: .

I shall pursue my interest else were. There must be at least ten other people in the world who would like to know.

The duo become a trio…

Justin Kauflin: piano; Thomas Fonnesbaek: bass; Billy Williams: drums.

Released in 2018 on Storyville Records.

Enjoy

Great band:

Not his usual but a great evening listen

Bob’s fine chuggy piano and laconic, sour vocals. Many proper help mates.
Great hipster from the day.
Wrote Blue Xmas for Miles Davis.
Flautist is his daughter Arlene (principal flute chair Houston Symphony)
On Qobuz.

Oh how exciting they have gathered all the Cookbooks together in a box and reprocessed, recycled fkcd up the wonderful ambiance that RVG created. I’ve known and loved theses recordings for so many years I might be overly sensitive.

Why do they bother. I can only listen on Qobuz so other ‘platforms’ might sound better. Atom HE and Meze Empyreans.

I offer as a comparison.

I think it is Tidal only.
