Les McCann has died. 88 years.

He found a good living just on the edge of (my) jazz. Also a well regarded photographer.

Giving this a twirl on Qobuz. Lots of funky stuff there as well.

This appeared on my YouTube feed, so I thought I’d share here. I love Rick’s enthusiasm for this, plus he’s right, the absolute genius of Oscar Peterson to have the ability to play in all these different styles when asked about them, is incredible.
