Briks lit the touch paper for me in a hifi shop in Headingly in 1979, fed by LP12/Ittok/Asak powered by Naim amps. Bruckner was magical. About 5 years ago I bought a pair for about £300. They were fantastic but caused domestic strife! I now have Titan 808s with a 500 system so it’s hard to compare the Kudos to the Briks. With that caveat, I would say that the 808s are more open and sound less like loudspeakers. You just get the music.
