Little bit of slack in volume knob - NAC282

I recently acquired a NAC 282 (and 250 DR) as a step up from my Nait XS3. The 282 is from 2022 so it’s fairly new. It’s sounding fantastic! A pretty big step coming from an XS3. But there is one funny thing going on with the volume knob. There seems to be a few mm of slack when turning it. So there is basically no resistance in the first few mm and only after this you can feel te weight of turning. It happens in both ways, so it feels like it’s not properly tightened or something?

This is not the case with the balance knob, it seems to be tightly fixed. And I also didn’t experience this with my XS3. Is this supposed to be normal? If not, can I fix this myself? Thanks in advance for your replies.

Does it have a set screw.. little small hole with a screw in it? if so maybe it needs to be tightened..If that doesn’t help maybe a little bit of plumbers teflon tape?

After removing the knob I knew exactly what you meant. I put a little piece of cable tie in the slot and now it’s perfectly tight again! Thanks for your help!
