I think you will find that ‘knob’ was used deliberately. It’s just like one of the highlights of Fraim ownership - polishing your balls.
This is a wind up.
Wind up or not, I’ve noticed that my balance dial aka “knob” seems to move slightly at times on my SN2. I thought I was imagining it, but no! No software control and I’m sure I’m not hitting the balance control on the remote.
I had to check that it wasn’t posted on 1 April.
I’d suggest that the OP selects display off and listens to some music.
Good idea. I’d forgotten that the 552 has leds on the two knobs that are extinguished when the display is set to off. My 272 has its balance controlled via the app, and the volume knob has no led at all. If the OP is still worried that the little light on the balance knob lights up when the volume is increased there are a few options - ignore it, stick a dead fly over the led with superglue, pull off the knob, snip the wires to the led and put it back on again, or put a thick black condom on the knob.
Let’s just say that the deviated knob does not affect my ability to enjoy music. I may have given the impression that it annoyed me but in reality I was merely interested to learn whether anyone else has experienced this strange phenomenon. So far there is one other member @dknk who is confused as I am why this keeps happening.
I still think those two knobs are too close together. They need some distancing. One oneside the other the other side.
2 metres distancing?
Is there an award for the strangest, most cryptic post of the month?
We may have a winner here.
Yeah, I was gonna say if your knob keeps moving and it bothers you, maybe back off on the porn a little.
This thread is much needed during these unprecedented times in the world. It should stay right here in this header/topic. I have been laughing so hard the light hearted responses while on “mandatory shelter”.

It might be a good idea to take your hand off it.
If you’re going to start playing about with it, you definitely need the right tool for the job.

I’m in the dog house: my wife asked me to do the washing up this morning but when she came back home she caught me red handed playing with my knob again.
My balance knob has been behaving (no strange moves) since I last reported that it was mysteriously moving. Even though it’s early days, I think it got the hint, thanks for all your help @anon82049577.
