NAC-N 272 does not play MP3 since upgrade to Firmware 4.9

Just like another user reported on 5 March: since I upgraded my NAC-N 272 to firmware 4.9, it refuses to play most (but not all) MP3 files. The player doesn’t react to any input and a reset by switching off & on is required.

Before the update, it played all MP3 music fine. Nothing else on the system was changed (MinimServer running on a Synology NAS). Others formats FLAC and WAV are doing fine.

Is there a bug in firmware 4.9?
Or does Naim wants to block its clients from playing MP3?

Naim Muso just stops at certain MP3 files

I have WD cloud server with playlists and an MP3 collection with varying bit rates. The server connects with a MuSo via BT Hub 2. I use both IPAD and Android Naim Apps with the MuSo. MuSo firmware is V2. Android app is up to date. All of my MP3 files and playlists on the server will play correctly on various PCs, Laptops, Tablets and a Bose wave system around the house with no trouble. If they are you might be able to fix the issue on MinimServer by transcoding on the fly if it supports it, I did the following in asset to fix the issue on my Mu-so V1:-
