Indeed they did, and a very good one at that, using a Denon 3 head dual capstan transport.

Yes the CDS came few days ago. It sounds really great to me as cd player and also as network streamer. Way better than my previous source which was Yamaha product. Didn’t try the sacd function. Also the remote is very quality built , backlit , and completely functional with naim amp also.

I had that exact same configuration as my first ‘proper’ system. Still got the Ela’s in their original box. The NAC A5 is still in use today…
