Nah, I’m not looking for other speakers at mo,
if I’m that fussed I’ll add a sub,
But would like a pair of Shahinian arcs
Been using a Lejonklou Slipsik 8 with my 12/160 for a few weeks. Initially, I was really pleased with the improved tunefulness and reduced distortion and listened to it as normal. However, as the weeks have gone by I’ve felt less and less ‘pull’ to put a record on in the office. And then the feeling that I should revert to 322 cards which I did this morning. Normal service resumed :). As much as I rate the Slipsik, it seems to be best to just let Naim amps do what they do best instead of trying to widen their abilities and meld them into something else.
Now listening to side 1 of Never a Dull Moment - proper rock 'n roll - superb!

What do you think about it ? Apparently it looks clean and correct overall.
My Linn dealer has a Nac62/250 CB in mint condition waiting for me. This one could be the icing on the cake
@rsch Looks good to me,
But I’m no expert and could be wrong,
I look at the wiring naim do like 45 degree angles
and as it’s coming from a good source,
Any problems you have your dealer
Of course!
My dealer at the moment had only one, owned by a customer of his portfolio, but he, for a good reason, discouraged me from taking this, being that in a pretty bad shape.
For the record he’s a Linn Naim specialist in Cremona since 1989
Can you get it cheap then?
Then get a service?
I don’t know its price, but sleeve and rear panel are scratched, above all the front fascia turned to brown, so it’s a no no. The other one Is for sale in UK, It will face a 15% of taxes and shopping cost on the top, but It’ s the best i found at the moment
That’s a shame,
Just had a brain fart,
Outer case can be re spayed,
Use a piece of sticky back black vinyl to cover fascia,
Think you can buy replacements you stick on,
But won’t have naim logo,
Ok it might not be perfect,
And only a trained eye would notice the difference
If can do all that for less than a price of a hi cap
And you will have naim kudos rescuing piece of sad looking kit,
Naim is for life not just to show off,
Looks like there’s an early stage line,
Might not be by naim tho,
I don’t think that’s a real Naim box on top…
I have no idea what the hell Is that, he didn’t tell me
At a guess it’s probably a set of phono boards in a DIY box that have been wired up to take a HICAP PS feed.
Beautiful CB Nat02 fergch. It would be a joy to listen to.
My favorite western movie in your painting
Best scene - James Coburn with knife

@GrumpyOLDvinylJUNKY Creating a tractor-dial NAC 32.5 to match the rest of my Chrome-bumper shoeboxes…
I also use LASA, they are outstanding.
Next week i will collect this nice 62/90 in Pisa, at the new HQ of my long time friend Antonio Trebbi. He was the italian distributor in the '80s for Linn and Naim, and also a pivotal character of kan and Isobarik speaker stands, and later the famous Audiotech Tables for electronics. Probably a first example on the market along with Sound Organization.
