Naim Chrome Bumper

If nothing else, the symmetry is striking!

Very nice

What are these speaker stand ?

Thanks. Sound Anchor desktop stands. I wonder if traditional stands would sound better but the dresser is very solid.

I love CB and I am about to add another two 135’s to make 9 driving the home cinema set up. A picture of the back of the room after setting up the racking. The AV2 is retired at the moment and I have an Acurus processor now

Wow I had an Armstong 426 received long ago, I think I replaced it with an A&R A60, which I then replaced with 32.5 / 110, stayed with Naim ever since. Love the sound.

Either it is the pic, or this room is simply amazing, besides the one I currently occupy :), it is one of the few I have seen designed to serve the mind, body and soul of the mighty listener.

Nine CB 135s?? Instant legend! What are each of them used for?

Thanks for the kind comments the 7 135’s are used for bi amping Sonus Faber Extrema’s (4amps) , the Cremona centre and Electa Amator rears. The Cremona M subs have inbuilt amps, the last pair of 135’s will be used with yet to be located Sonus Faber Elipsa Auditor, or similar. I’d love to configure a now unused Supercap to drive the Acurus ACT4

WOW … This is the system my home cinema would loke like, if… i had a house… had a big room in the house… had a wife, which did will not tell me…

Gratulations to a perfect setup

What rack is it, IWC? I like it.

The racks are HiFi Racks, about 10 or so years ago they had a range with back wood inlays, evidently they were really tricky to do and it was too expensive to scale so they dropped the range a big shame

NAP 110 now in the office, fed by Uniqute 1 into Ls50’s. 110 has an AV Options Tibia plus and UQ an Ice Age Audio cable. Inexpensive Dyson Audio Din to RCA. Sounds fine after some burn in. Music almost too sublime at times - easy to drift off and not get any work done! FYI the midi mixer is to control developing in Lightroom.

FYI, the Sean Jacobs Powerblack with bulgin connector power cable has been powering my 160 Bolt Down for a couple of weeks now. Sounds way much better than the original scrawny cord that it came with - the plain Tibia I rigged up for the interim was in the middle. More balanced midtone and better controlled bass primarily. For $460 from my local dealer, that BD 160 is turning out to be my best hifi buy ever. The cable was more than half of that!

Hifiman,

Is it the exposure on your camera, or is the “NA” part of the logo on your nait a bit overdriven?

It looks really bright.

Interestingly, the part of the logo I’m referring to was once labelled by a delivery driver to the factory as “the managers balls”. That was back in the Julian era. Always tickled me.

Edit, not the balls obviously.

Regards
Neil.

Hi Neil

Its over exposure. The picture was taken on my mobile in the flesh looks great, Darran at Class A replaced the logo when the Nait was serviced a few weeks back.

The sound from this Nait is incredible and is used daily, a perfect match for the Allaes.

cheers

New speakers for my Nait 2.
Shahinian Super Elf.
They are not HiFi, just pure music, I love them.
they replaced the Harbeth p3esr.
I rediscovered the pleasure of listening to music and not the system.

Happen to be watching a Monty Python doco on Netflix and notice these during an old interview with Graham Chapman.

Yes, there was a picture of Graham Chapman with the hifi system behind him that was doing the rounds some years back.

Graham Chapman Naim4

It looks like a NAC12 with a NAP160.

It’s rather bizarre that the photo I took off the TV looks to be the same (almost ) frame as the photo.
