Not exactly the same, but I used a pair of NAP 250s as NAP 125s (using Left and Right mono leads) very successfully for a while, while I was waiting for the third NAP 250 to turn up…
Interesting about the CB conversion: what did you do about the fascia?
Just bought a nice looking Nait 2 CB from a popular action site. Probably way overpaid. Very excited waiting for it to arrive as this will be my first Naim CB product.
Ah. Understood.
A friend of my bid and won a light aircraft on ebay one Friday evening. Whilst he was a pilot ( of sorts) he did not quite expect to win.
When he woke up on Saturday afternoon, he remembered what he’d done. But it was too late. He’d won the plane for £22k!
Not sure what happened, I don’t think he bought the plane.
The winner bidder hid his/her eBay rating, so I suspected he/she may not be credible. After the auction is finished, I sent a message to the seller offering to buy in case he isn’t able to transact.
A week later, as expected, the winner bidder didnt want to pay, and I was fortunate to pick it up.
Yes 1K is quite a bit more than what I was expecting to pay, but what’s an extra 200 or 300 for something you really wanted?
As an eBay seller and buyer still irritating. But good result for you.
These days if you want the right thing you have to pay.
And at least it was not £22k!
1K seems mad, but it’s actually fine because you could easily get all your money back now, or enjoy it for five years then get your 1K back plus another 1K on top. Getting paid for listening to music
1k for nait 1 or 2 its very high…
Hopefully i didn’t buy mine this price. So sounds to be a good plan to keep them.
That’s the same with 160CB, very high price.
Sure, 1k is high relative to where they traded a few years ago, but what can you even buy for 3k that matches its sonic characteristics or cool factor?
Even when things get back to ‘normal’ , I’ll be working from home a lot more so it’s worth keeping for an updated office system. B stock Iotas keep appearing at nice prices…
