Bit late this month, I’ve been a busy bee last week.
We’ve just released new firmware v3.12 for products and this secretly unlocks new internet radio functionality for Uniti based products and streamers that run on this version. Other products will be updated over the next month or so to gain this improved functionality.
For various stations / radio networks they now have improved metadata and in some cases station program data. Various internet only stations have now gained metadata. In total just over 650 stations have been enhanced.
This includes:

- Soma FM, Groove Salad - lossless stream.
- Radio Paradise network
- Boom FM network, UK
- ABC Radio network, Australia
- 60 North Radio, UK
- FIP / Radio France
- Deep Vives Radio
- TMM, UK
- OuiFM (France)
- JB Radio2
- Listnr Network (Australia)
- Naim Radio
- BFBS, UK
- Nation Radio, UK
- NPO, Netherlands
- Radio Caroline, UK
- Radio Swiss, Switzerland
- Global Group, UK
We’ll keep on pecking away at this to expand and improve the metadata offering to customers.

Now has program data for the national channels and now playing meta should be a bit better as well:

Full metadata + artwork and of course they kindly provide us a higher quality stream compared to over streamers.
ABC Radio, Australia
Improved program data, meta + artwork across their network including digital channels.
Here’s one from ABC Jazz:
Otherwise things are running fine. We have recently switched over one of the backend servers to a new virtual server. Hopefully no one has noticed as we switched the old one off and turned the new one on.
There has also been various disruptions in Australia as a few hundred station URL’s went bad overnight. We have now updated the system and all is working fine again.
